"Drake" is one of those goldens that causes you to do a "double-take".  He is classically handsome with a regal demeanor that shouts confidence, poise and talent.  In addition to his outstanding pedigree and personal accomplishments he has impressed me most with his biddable and co-operative nature.  In May 2004, his owner, Mark Edwards, was judging a Master stake.  Mark's pre-teen daughter, Amanda had total charge of "Drake" for the weekend, running him as test dog at the double-Junior stake.  I don't think there are many Master Hunters of any breed that could be handled by a little girl with absolutely NO adult supervision.  "Drake" is rock solid and trustworthy.  If there is an award for the "Most Golden Golden" , I think "Drake" would get my vote.
