| Rory is the result of a dream breeding between Medie's spectacular Silk - FTCH AFTCH Topbrass Smooth as Silk Am/Can MH and the gorgeous Red- Rockerin Red River Ruckus who has 2 Amateur wins in one of the toughest Field Trial divisions in the U.S.-Texas/Oklahoma. Red is the son of FDHF FC AFC Bart. Bart and Rugby (Silks father) are hugely responsible for the resurgence of competitive Goldens in the Field Trial game.<br><br>Like Northern Dancer, they are prepotent, having produced a multitude of titled kids and grandkids. Versatility is the standout trait..many, many FC, AFC, OTCH, MH, QAA<br><br>Rory has his fathers near perfect conformation, dark red coat and trainability as well as Silk's marking ability, water strength and memory. What a wonderful blend of both parents! |

| This young dog is stylish and fast and has a strong water attitude. He had a derby win, second and third in Canada in 2010 and two Qualifying wins and a second in 2011, which gave him his QFTR title and made him the high point Qualifying dog in Ontario in 2011. He has taken the huge leap to running Open this summer.<br><br>Rory is a "character" and a perfect gentleman. He smiles at one and all, lays on the ground to play with tiny puppies, romps with the other intact boys in the airing yard and is a wonderful, easy house dog. He doesn't pout or hold a grudge in training and shows up every day to work. He is also forgiving of my Amateur handling mistakes and a dream to stand beside on the line, focused, still and watchful. |
