"Missy"
  Adirondac Artemis     SH   WCX

Missy is from the November 2007, Foxy x Trooper breeding. It is easy to tell she’s one of Foxy’s puppies. She is biddable, easily trained, and very birdy. She is a fast learner and always gives it her all. She is a small bitch weighing in at 53 lbs, and most are surprised by her high drive and fast speed.

Current field accomplishments:

Working Certificate (WC) at 9 months of age
Junior Hunter (JH) at 10 months of age
Working Certificate Excellent (WCX) at 1.5 years of age
Senior Hunter (SH) at 2.5 years (Missy’s qualifying of the title Senior Hunter helped make her Dam Foxy eligible for Outstanding Dam status. The GRCA Hall of Fame honors the achievements of Goldens that are outstanding producers, as proven by titles earned by the progeny.)
Two NAHRA “WR” (Working Retriever) Intermediate Level Passes
AKC Canine Good Citizen Certificate
Missy will be testing for AKC Master Hunter (“MH”) as well as a NAHRA Intermediate Level (“WR”) in the 2011 season.
Missy predominantly hunts upland game, including grouse and pheasant. She is great to hunt over as she stays in tight and works the cover over very well. She has a soft mouth with birds, and has a high prey drive on cripples. She also has proven herself as a leashed tracking dog for the recovery of big game animals. In the State of New York it is legal to use a leashed dog for recovering wounded white-tailed deer or bear.

At home Missy is very laid back, and is a fun companion. She is just a pleasure to have around and is as much as you could ever hope and ask for whether at home or in the field.

She has passed all health clearances, and is PRCD clear.

Missy has been bred to Adirondac Rusty Jason CD, MH, WCX, CCA, VC and is expected to whelp November 1, 2010. This breeding should produce a nice litter, with "entry level" puppies capable of getting any job done with minimal training.
