"Cooper"
  Light Farm's Cooper

Cooper’s natural abilities amazed us at a very early age. He embodies all that is desired in a retriever, possessing speed, pinpoint marking and excellent water skills. He is intelligent, biddable and has a wonderful personality. He excels in all areas of hunting whether upland or waterfowl.

Cooper stands 23 inches tall, 63 pounds of solid muscle, classic headpiece, proper ear set, straight topline, and has the perfect coat for hunting. He is clear by parentage for the prcd/pra gene and has all his clearances as recommended by the GRCA.
Cooper is completely owner trained. He began his competitive field trial career by jamming the Derby at 9 months of age. He made the 2004 National Derby List (16 derby points). In Spring, 2005 he earned his Master Hunter and also qualified at the Master National that same year. Cooper became QAA at 31 months with a win in his second Qualifying appearance in July, 2005. In the last 18 months, Cooper received a 3 rd in the Amateur and a JAM in the Open in all breed trials; he also won the Amateur at the 2008 GRCA National Specialty. He now has 6 All-Age points.
Cooper was the #2 High Point Derby Golden Retriever in 2004. He has passed all of his health clearances, so we just have our fingers crossed for that AFC.
