Tracker is a 3 yr old, 75 lb male, with a gorgeous mahogany red coat. He is very outgoing with a zest for life. He is a good marker, tending to take the straightest line out to each fall. He picked up multiples easily and is steady and very quiet on the line. His water attitude is marvelous and he is a powerful swimmer. Tracker started pheasant hunting with me at 9 months of age. This past fall was his third year pheasant hunting, and at 2 ½ years of age, showed tremendous nose in locating birds and drive in retrieving them. He stays close and quarters naturally, a joy to hunt with. In addition to hunting and field training, Tracker is also training to track and for competition obedience. He excels at tracking with intensity and an incredible nose. He picks ups obedience exercises quickly, very willing to please.
Tracker received both year-end Derby trophies awarded by our club in 2016 and placed third and fourth in sanctioned Qualifying Stakes run last year, both from fields of 12 or more dogs.
Tracker is 7 for 7 running in Master stakes, which is an unbelievable accomplishment, especially since tests today are becoming more difficult and tricky.
Littermates Scarlett and Tracker both are new Master Hunters at the Sept. Finger Lakes RC hunt test. Two ultra talented red dogs.
