Everyone positively LOVES Dixie!
At the tender age of 20 months, she earned her first Master Hunter pass. I handled her at the Finger Lakes Retriever Club hunt test held here at Echoewood, and altho she made my heart pump a few times, we proved that together we make a great team.
Dixie is now Adirondac Master Hunter #54! She completed the required 5 passes at 25 months of age, and 2 weeks later qualified for the 2023 Master National. She was one of the youngest qualifiers to run the event, and a golden, at that! |

Dixie has now passed 21 Master tests, AS WELL AS qualifying at the 2026 Master Amateur Invitational with Dawn Terrill handling.
Her octane level in the house is low/moderate but in the field she comes alive and performs with intensity and incredible accuracy. She is, without doubt, one of my finest products ever.
