My good friend, Tony Zappia who owns Tea For Two has convinced me that it is time for me to have a field trial hopeful. Tony did her preliminary work and hooked me up with Canadian Pro Trainer Dave Thompson.

Pokey is a "Laker" pup who inherited her Mother's psychic marking talent. Her work ethic and natural abilities have brought words of high praise from Dave who has seen many field trial prospects come and go.

Pokey has had an amazing run in field trial derby's in 2011. She's was entered in 8 events - 5 in Canada - 3 here in the states. She's taken a ribbon Everytime! To her credit she has 2 First places, 1 Second, 1 Third, 2 Fourths and 2 JAMs. She is ranked number 6 Derby dog in all of Canada - all breeds and is presently number 4 derby Golden Retriever in the US. The future looks very bright for this shining star. Pokey has passed all health clearances and will be bred in 2012.
