It was our good fortune to keep Brandi from her mother Marcy's last litter in May 2005. Brandi is a beautiful golden girl who much resembles her famous sire Push. She makes people melt with her lovely soft eye and expression. She has been a retrieving fool since her first introduction to birds at 6 weeks of age and easily completed her JH & WC at just over one year of age, and then her CD, WCX and SH at age 2. Her CD title was earned in a single weekend with 1st, 2nd and 4th placements. She earned her WCX on her first try, and then went on to earn her SH in 4 straight tests in 15 days. She now has 3 Master Hunter leg and we plan to finish the title in 2011. In 2010, Brandi also was awarded the GRCA Certificate of Conformation Assessment (CCA) and Versatility Certificate (VC), validating her correctness of breed type and multi-purpose accomplishments. |

Brandi's personality is affectionate, sweet, soft, yet with steel for her backbone. She is energetic, playful, always on the look-out for a joke or a good time, but she can immediately settle and focus on the task at hand. Her best training attributes are her high biddibility, her high prey drive and her desire to please us and do things right. Brandi is a working Therapy Dog, where her calm, affectionate temperament makes her a natural for connecting with people of all sizes and ages. She was an exemplary mother to her first litter of 9 puppies sired by Pete (TealOak's Weebe a Pistol MH, RN, WCX, CGC) in December 2008. Several pups from the first litter are already titled in field &/or are proven hunting companions, including daughter Rose (Adirondac Meadowbrae Rose JH) who lives with us in our 3 generation family group. We look forward to a repeat breeding in Spring 2011. |
