"Gypsy"
Adirondac Gold Standard     CD   MH   OD  CCA   VC
Gypsy just might be the dog of a lifetime for me. Her attitude right since puppyhood has been that of a winner. She was a precocious swimmer and retriever as a pup and at 5 months of age she flushed, marked, retrieved and delivered to hand a cock pheasant. She sailed through Junior Hunter, passing 4 tests over the course of two weekends. Likewise in obedience, her CD was earned over a three day show. In September on 2005, she passed five Senior Hunter tests over 14 days, the last one being at the GRCA National Specialty. While at the specialty I contracted Lyme disease which put me and Gypy out of commission in 2006. We came back strong in 2007 passing 6 of 8 Master tests and proudly claimimg the title.

She's very stocky and has a thick, wavy Gore-tex coat. She loves the water, no matter what the temperature. She's always acted mature and calm but has a playful, puppy side too. She's been a delight to train and has always given me more than 100% at tests. I think she is one of the finest we have ever produced.
