Pokey is a "Laker" pup who inherited her Mother's psychic marking talent. Her work ethic and natural abilities have brought words of high praise from Dave who has seen many field trial prospects come and go.
Pokey has had an amazing run in field trial derby's in 2011. She's was entered in 8 events - 5 in Canada - 3 here in the states. She's taken a ribbon Everytime! To her credit she has 2 First places, 1 Second, 1 Third, 2 Fourths and 2 JAMs. She was ranked number 6 Derby dog in all of Canada - all breeds. Pro Bev Millheim (Renegade Retrievers) brought her back to hunt test distances and she now has her Master Hunter. Three weeks after titling I donned a white coat for my first time ever and she earned a JAM in a field trill qualifying stake. If we can JAM - then we can win! She is one heck of a dog. |
